Description
A Honey Crisp Apple is a large, sweet apple with crisp "to-die-for" texture! It's flavor and crisp texture -- no other apple matches its crispness.
Tis the season for making applesauce!
6 Honey Crisp apples - peeled, cored and cut into wedges
1 cup water
2 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
Add apples and water to large saucepan. Bring to boil and reduce to simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in remaining ingredients and mash apples to desired consistency. Serve warm, room temp, or cold. Freezes well!
