Description
Photograph taken near Amboseli, Kenya (negative scanned from 35mm film). The Maasai, famous as herders and warriors, and for the Maasai, cattle are what make the good life, and milk and meat are the best foods. They are nomadic, moving their herds from one place to another, so that the grass has a chance to grow again.

We have traveled to Kenya and have spent time with the Maasai. You have captured their elegance and spirit!
Gwyn Newcombe replied:
Thank you Laura. I hope to someday scan all of my 35m film and post more photos here on FAA.

Fantastic photograph Gwyn! . To catch the expressions and jump, perfect timing. Your description makes me envy the Maasai lifestyle.
Gwyn Newcombe replied:
Thank you kindly Bob. This was a once in a lifetime trip ... unforgettable to say the least.
